Marjorie Selden and Aundrey Mitchell

Marjorie Selden and Aundrey Mitchell, will accompany each other on violas for an evening of classical selections.
A founding member of Trillium, Marjorie Selden studied viola with Dr. Nathan Gottschalk and Walter Trampler. An active freelance musician, Ms. Selden plays in the Newtown Chamber Orchestra, Delaware Valley Philharmonic and the Orchestra of St. Peter by the Sea. She also performs in faculty recitals at Westminster Conservatory. Ms. Selden teaches violin and viola at the conservatory and also is program coordinator for the Adult Chamber Reading Ensemble.
Aundrey Mitchell, violist, has performed throughout the United States and abroad as orchestral player, chamber musician, and soloist with appearances at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and the Kimmel Center. As soloist, she has performed with the New Brunswick Chamber Orchestra, the Harlem Symphony Orchestra, and the Bronx Concert Singers. As recitalist, Ms. Mitchell has been featured in the New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and in the US Virgin Islands on the St. Croix Candlelight Concert Series. An avid chamber musician, she has participated in numerous festivals including the Taos School of Music and the L’Ecole d’Arts Americaines at Fontainebleau, France.
