Literacy New Jersey is a non-profit organization that matches tutors to new English learners. The Tutor Training Program is a 12-hour course provided to new tutors for Literacy New Jersey. The trainees are taught the main principles of adult learning and are certified to begin tutoring with Literacy New Jersey at the completion of the 4 week course.
