Abraham Alinea, a pianist from Parlin, New Jersey, will perform Chopin’s waltzes, etudes, nocturnes, a mazurka, and some of his larger-scale works. While in the sixth grade, with no previous significant musical education, he became fascinated with the piano and classical music. With no formal training, he developed his own musical abilities. He has studied various periods of music. This fall Abraham will be a student at Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts. Regularly playing music, he demonstrates a clear passion for entertaining others. This is his second concert at the library.
