Art with Jill

As part of the summer theme concerning self-expression, artist Jill Caporlingua gave a presentation explaining how the written word has been employed in modern art history by artists such as Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque, Robert Indiana, Jasper Johns, and Andy Warhol. They put their knowledge into practice by creating two mixed media murals that are now on view in the teen reading room.
