An American In China
An American In China, photos by Arthur Krasinsky
Among his impressive photos is Hiking The Great Wall, where the 25 year veteran photographer caught the majesty of the famed fortification with his eye for perspective. The wall was built over a period of 2,000 years and covers 4,000 miles with a height of 25 feet. Its width of 20 feet across allows five horses or 10 soldiers to march abreast.
The extensive exhibit also includes images of the Beijing Opera, fishermen from Yangtze, pandas, musicians and the Forbidden City.
“Aside from the striking visual appeal of many of the locales and museums in China, I found the Chinese people to be warm, friendly, have a wonderful sense of humor,” Krasinsky said. “Hopefully these images illustrate some of the natural and cultural highlights of one of the world’s most ancient and interesting civilizations.”
The Marlboro resident has been a photographer for Fortune 500 companies, PBS and many other major outlets. He has received awards from The New York Art Directors Club and The New Jersey Art Directors Club for his editorial photography.
