A witch tasks a childless baker and his wife with procuring magical items from classic fairy tales to reverse the curse put on their family tree.”Into the Woods” is a modern twist on several of the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. This humorous and heartfelt musical follows the classic tales of Cinderella (Anna Kendrick), Little Red Riding Hood (Lilla Crawford), Jack and the Beanstalk (Daniel Huttlestone), and Rapunzel (MacKenzie Mauzy)-all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife (James Corden & Emily Blunt), their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch (Meryl Streep) who has put a curse on them. Rated PG. Two hours.

Force Majeure as a legal term is an unexpected and disruptive event that my operate to excuse a party from a contract. In this Swedish drama, the term has more than one meaning when a family on a ski holiday in the French Alps find themselves staring down an avalanche during lunch one day; in the aftermath their dynamic has been shaken to its core, with a question mark hanging over the father in particular. Nominated for a 2015 Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Rated R. Two Hours.

The Raritan River runs through the center of New Jersey, with upper reaches that are incredibly beautiful, providing a valuable source of water for more than a million people. But industry took hold of the lower Raritan early on and left its mark.

This one-hour documentary, narrated by actor Avery Brooks, tells the compelling story of a river that has been profoundly contaminated over 200 years and of the extraordinary efforts to clean it up. It reveals how government agencies, powerful corporations, environmentalists, developers, scientists and lawyers have all clashed in their attempts to deal with the aftermath of extensive pollution and environmental neglect. Live Radio Play

The War of the Worlds radio play was first broadcast on October 30, 1938 by Orson Welles and had the entire nation believing that Martians had landed in New Jersey at a place called Groves Mills, not far from Highland Park. Now more than 70 years later, Raconteur Radio, a troop of five actors will recreate that broadcast in the meeting room.

This drama about a Mexican Jewish family, written and directed by Mariana Chenillo, won 7 Mexican Oscars. Nora had a plan. It would bring her ex-husband, Jose, and the rest of their family together for a magnificent Passover feast. But there is a flaw in her plan- a mysterious photograph from the past, hidden under the bed, which leads Jose to reexamine their relationship and rediscover their undying love for each other.

He fought for the liberation of his country and now feels he must have the chance of an education so long denied – even if it means sitting in a classroom alongside six-year-olds. Nevertheless, at the age of 16, the beautiful Aurora falls into a deep sleep that can only be awakened by a kiss from her betrothed, Prince Phillip. Knowing that Phillip intends to save Aurora, Maleficent takes him prisoner. When the good fairies launch a rescue attempt, Maleficent transforms herself into a spectacular fire-breathing dragon, forcing Phillip to defeat her in mortal combat. Rated G 1 hour 15 minutes.
