LIBRARY GOVERNANCE: The Highland Park Public Library is governed by an independent Board of Trustees as described in detail in NJSA Title 40, Chapter 54 (Libraries and Reading Rooms). The Board of Trustees consists of seven members appointed for five year terms, and two ex-officio members (or alternate).

The Library Board of Trustees typically meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 pm.

Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., all meeting notices of The Highland Park Public Library Board of Trustees shall be posted on the Library’s official website at www.hpplnj.org
