The Board of Trustees of the Highland Park Public Library is pleased to announce the hiring of our new Director.  Mike Bobish will join our organization effective May 8, 2023.

Mike Bobish brings a range of experiences to his role as Library Director at the Highland Park Public Library.  Mike began his career at the Ocean County Library, where he served as a Librarian, a Branch Manager, and as Chief of Administration.  He later worked at the Multnomah County Library in Portland, Oregon, serving as a Library Supervisor and Regional Manager.  Upon returning to New Jersey, Mike became the Library Director at the Old Bridge Public Library.  Most recently, Mike worked as the Assistant Director at the East Brunswick Public Library.

Mike has a passion for connecting communities with their local library.  In his free time, Mike enjoys hiking, gaming, and spending time with his wife and two young children.

The staff and the Board of Trustees look forward to working with Mike to strengthen our bond with the Highland Park community.
