Blithe Spirit, first performed in London’s West End in 1941 is a comedy by Noel Coward. Even if you haven’t seen any of the films or television shows based on the play that is often revived for Broadway, you probably have enjoyed a plot based on the first wife, Elvira, come back to spook a husband who has remarried a proper wife. Elvira is everything but proper! This is the fifth play we will be reading together with Coordinator Steve Eisodorfer. You don’t have to have any theatrical experience to read with the group.
