Exploring Mortality in Community

Black circle with the text "Date with Death Club: Exploring Mortality in Community" inside it, and outside of it.Do you want to face mortality with less fear and more curiosity, less euphemism and more reality, less conformity and more creativity?

Facilitated by Rev. Karen G. Johnston, Date with Death Club is a non-dogmatic opportunity to explore mortality in community through connection, reflection, and conversation.

Come to one, some, or all of the monthly sessions. Participation in each session is first come, first served.

Aging: Better than the Alternative: In this life, there’s no escaping aging or declining health.  It is part of the mortal dance.  In our youth-oriented society, one must be intentional to feel good about aging or about health challenges.  We’ll use this session to explore what it means to come face to face with the two realities of aging and getting sick, lessening fear by facing it.

Note: Date with Death Club is NOT a bereavement group. For more information, visit the Date with Death Club website:, or visit the Date with Death Club Facebook page.
