Poetry Month Reading and Celebration

Please join us for a reading by Maxine Susman’s OLLIRU poetry class (the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute of Rutgers University). The poetry class has been running for ten years since 2013. Some members have been in the class since it started, others have joined over the years until now. “We have weathered—and written about—the world as we know it: social justice, political turmoil, climate change, the pandemic, the beauties of nature and art, the ups and downs of our own lives”. Come hear them and celebrate! Open mic after reading. Refreshments will be served.
