Andrew Budson, M.D. will give an hour long presentation on the Seven Steps to Managing Your Memory: What’s Normal, What’s Not, And What to Do About it, from his book by the same title. These are some of the questions Dr. Budson will answer: Is it normal to have concerns about your memory? What are the markers of mild cognitive impairment, dementia, Alzheimer’s, and other neuro-degenerative diseases? What can your doctor do to evaluate your memory? What medicines, alternative therapies, diets, and exercises are available to improve your memory? Dr. Andrew Budson is also Associate Director and Education Core Director at Boston University Alzheimer’s Disease Center and Professor of Neurology. He coauthored the book with Maureen K. O’Connor, PsyD., Director of Neuropsychology at the Bedford Veterans Hospital. A book signing with Dr. Budson will follow the presentation.
