LIBRARY GOVERNANCE: The Highland Park Public Library is governed by an independent Board of Trustees as described in detail in NJSA Title 40, Chapter 54 (Libraries and Reading Rooms). The Board of Trustees consists of seven members appointed for five year terms, and two ex-officio members (or alternate).
The Library Board of Trustees typically meets on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 pm. The aforementioned notice has been prepared and will be posted, mailed and filed in accordance with the provisions of the Open Public Meetings Act.
Copies of approved minutes from all meetings can be found at the library or can be requested digitally by emailing director [at] hpplnj [dot] org.
